Iseult Aiken
Iseult Aiken works in 2d with media ranging from the drawn line to
print to collage. Iseult is a graduate of NCAD with a BA
in Visual Communications (1985-1990) and a Diploma for Teachers in Art and
Design (1994-1995). Iseult teaches Art and Art History in Ashbourne Community
School, Co. Meath. Iseult
relishes the opportunity to create artwork, to work with materials that she has
not used before and to simply be creative.

Áine Dunne
Áine Dunne is an artist who works in woven textiles. See http://www.ainedunneweaver.com/
for details of Áine’s woven textile pieces, tapestry commissions, teaching
projects and her series of hand woven bookmarks that are being sold through
retail outlets. Her experimentation with the medium of woven textiles includes
working with local Alpaca yarn from Mullagh Lane in Dromiskin and also North
American Bead looming. Each project gives Áine’s personal creativity a
different focus and presents her with the challenge to create woven textile
pieces according to a rich variety of specifications.

Bryde Glynn
Bryde Glynn is a
textile artist who manipulates fabric by adapting traditional patchwork
techniques to the unique design of quilts, wall hangings and clothing pieces.
Bryde’s work can be found in public and private collections both in Ireland and
abroad. More recently, Bryde has been exploring how the qualities of different
kinds of paper can be articulated to express infinite variety in the natural
world.

Mary McDonnell
Mary McDonnell is
an artist currently involved in experimenting with mixed media, which is the
result of previous artistic activity engaging with textiles and painting. Mary
founded the Drogheda Quilters in 1982 and subsequently had her own craft shop
in Slane. In 2003, Mary co-founded the Indigo Art Group and in 2012 together
with Iseult Aiken she was instrumental in initiating the multi media group Ceangailte.
